The coast has obviously changed considerable since the arrival of the first tourists on package holidays in the sixties, and now has all the facilities that one would expect in an area that has embraced the new Europe.

To those who prefer to be on the coast itself, there are a variety of different styles of life, from the bustle of the centre of town to the quieter areas for those who like to have a view of the sea but not be on the main sea front of a town.

Those who prefer to be lightly inland have a wide spectrum of areas from which to choose. We have had clients who prefer to be in a small village and those who are in their element being in a rural environment surrounded by trees, greenery, and things like cows and sheep occasionally.

Whatever style you prefer, including city life if you are looking for the capital Malaga, there is an area that appeals.

To golfers, the Coast is a paradise, as there are so many courses on which to play. For those who would like an apartment, a villa, or a house on or near a golf course, there are some splendid opportunities available.

We have a client who is now 76 years of age and whose life in retirement is golf with three friends who have also bought homes here. He is of the opinion that he should no longer suffer the vagaries of the weather back home, and that he will only play golf if it is a beautiful day, and there is no wind and no rain. He told us recently that he has only missed twelve days in the last eighteen months. What a life !
